Taste of Ireland at 2SLO
On November 9, 2022, we acquired a taste for Irish culture. Students of pre-DP2 classes together with their teachers prepared many attractions. First, we watched a video filmed by students on a trip to Dublin and Galway in October, featuring interviews with passer-by in Dublin about Irish sport. Then two award-winning dancers appeared on the stage: Dominika P. and Maria K. Dominika has just become the European U-15 Champion for the second time in a row, and Marysia won the title of European U-19 Vice-Champion, both girls at the Continental European and Asian Championships in Irish Dance in the edition of sports. After the artistic part, it was possible to visit the stands prepared by the students, ask them questions, buy Irish delicacies and learn the basic steps of Irish dance at workshops with Ms Agata Poddębska. In addition, a cake fair was held, the proceeds of which will be donated to the orphanage in Zwierzyniec.

2 SLO was in the TOP 10 of the national 2024 LGBTQ+ Friendly Schools Ranking. The ranking is prepared on the basis of students' votes in a survey from the website maparownosci.pl. The project has been organized on a nationwide scale since 2020 by the GrowSPACE Foundation.
