Philosophically with a View of the Mountains
On March 22-25, a group of a dozen or so philosophers from the DP1 class went to Lake Czorsztyńskie. There, with a view of the Tatras, Pieniny and Gorce Mountains, we worked on Martha Nussbaum’s book “Creating Capabilities”, which the group chose for their graduation text. Our discussions were accompanied by a full spectrum of emotions: from excitement and weariness to irritation. We released our emotions on walks and while cooking together.
