‘Moving Image. Second Opening’
On Thursday, 15 January, Zachęta hosted the opening of an exhibition showcasing the results of work of students from 2SLO. Over the past two months, a group of six students: Marcjanna, Olga, Lara, Andrzej, Zofia and Chloe, took part in workshops organised by Zachęta – National Gallery of Art, during which they took on the role of curators of an exhibition entitled ‘Moving Image. Second Opening’.
As the organisers wrote: the workshop participants began their work with an imaginative interpretation of the works, creating fictional stories, labels and an audio guide. Gradually, they confronted their ideas with artistic and institutional reality, making decisions about how to present the selected works.
