Rainbow Friday
October 25 at 2SLO was a day of solidarity with LGBTQ+ people. This year, the greatest attention was paid to the issue of the Civil Partnership Act. In the morning, thanks to Olga Masiuk, students learned about the situation of same-sex couples in the world, the history of non-introducing regulations in Poland and watched a film entitled “Article 18 of the Constitution.” Moreover, on the third floor, students organized a café where you could buy cookies and take part in the lottery. The proceeds were donated to the organization “Love Does Not Exclude”, which strives to introduce marriage equality in Poland. At noon there was also a competition for the most creative rainbow costume. Olga Masiuk supervised the whole thing.
