Eliza Kącka’s autobiographical book is much more than a story about family, about the bond with her daughter, about the experience of being the mother of a child on the spectrum. Kącka takes us to the epicenter of the struggle for a dignified existence.  Through the author’s eyes we watch the extraordinary everyday life of homes in Lidzbark Warmiński, Toruń, and Warsaw, and listen to ruthless opinions and advice from experts or “valuable” comments from kind-hearted people.  The artist, like a virtuoso uses colorful and essential language, creates a unique composition imbued with heroic acceptance of life as it is.

The story of a mother-daughter relationship can be seen on the stage of the Teatr Dramatyczny, directed by Anna Augustynowicz.
