Mazovia Team Championship of Secondary Schools in Speed Chess
On Saturday, November 4, two teams from our school: one from the Polish branches and one from the international branches, took part in the Mazovia Team Championship of Secondary Schools in Speed Chess.
The teams: Marcin W., Marek W., Wojciech K. and Gabriela K. (Nowowiejska) and Adam D., Stanisław U., Xuan Dung N., and Wanda Z. (Solec) took 41st and 29th place, respectively, in team ranking. Moreover, in the individual classification, Marcin W. took 37th place out of almost 200 players. We would like to congratulate all the participants and we are glad that the chess tradition is returning to our school for good.

2 SLO was in the TOP 10 of the national 2024 LGBTQ+ Friendly Schools Ranking. The ranking is prepared on the basis of students' votes in a survey from the website maparownosci.pl. The project has been organized on a nationwide scale since 2020 by the GrowSPACE Foundation.
