Community Service in preDP2
On December 21, 2022, in Solec, a presentation of community service work by second-grade students took place. Over the last few months, the students, divided into groups, had to complete a minimum of 12 hours of community service. This assignment prepared them for CAS (Creativity Activity Service), a compulsory subject in the IB curriculum where students are expected to work for others. Thanks to the presentations, students could learn about the problems that other groups encountered when contacting NGOs or be inspired by the actions in which they took part. All the information will come in handy next year when students will have to organize community service activities on their own; they already have experience in contact with foundations or other organizations, and they have also proven that selfless help can be provided to anyone and anywhere.
